Responsible for helping to maintain control over subsidiaries, protect assets, provide strategic direction, and manage financial risks of the Corporation.

Develops and implements the total Sales and Marketing effort of the hotel, including:securing new accounts, maintaining existing accounts, supervising activities of Sales personnel, and executing Sales and marketing strategies to maximize hotel profit. Responsible for response, execution and successful negotiation of all Corporate and Government Accounts, RFP's and Proposal through direct contact, 3rd Party Sites and IHG Key Account Directors.*Direct the activities of the Sales Team, providing leadership and motivation necessary to implement effective sales and marketing strategies and to maximize the generation of hotel sales/revenue.*Develop and maintains relationships with key clients to produce group and/ or convention business*Develop and manage the departments budget and monitor sales activities/performances to ensure sales are met or exceed established revenue plan and to accurately report variances/projections.*Develop hotel level tactical sales and marketing plans to support overall system -wide sales plans/strategies and programs*Develop and maintain good relationship with officials and representatives of local community groups/companies, as well as attends conventions to generate conventions and group business.*Assist General Manager in development and update of the hotel level business plan to include input on sales goals and plans that support the overall business and sales strategies of the company.*Ensure that all scheduled conventions, meetings and events function satisfactorily to exceed the clients demands.*Meet with General Manager and Regional Revenue Managers to increase sales*Assume Manager on Duty responsibilities and other duties assigned by the General Manager as needed

Responsible for direct selling of rooms in S.M.E.R.F. Market in addition to food and beverages for the purpose of maximizing profits of the hotel. Assisted in development and implementation of sales and marketing strategies. Developed new accounts and maintained existing ones.* Responsible for contacting organizations, travel agents, associates and commercial companies in order to establish contacts via emails, phone or sales calls.*Leveraged corporate market by personal contact and onsite visits* Ensured all arrangements made with groups are completed satisfactorily by maintaining liaison with other hotel departments.*Maintained account files*Assisted with development of departmental budget and overall sales objectives. *Scheduled meetings and group business activities at the hotel.*Worked with Catering Manager to help improve profitability of sales.*Maintained good reputability with Chamber of Commerce and other local civic groups and companies.*Followed up with groups to assure customer satisfaction and future business.*Responsible for payments, invoices and commissions on all group booking. *Conducted On-Site Tours as need.*Organized promotions to increase hotel room revenue* Maintained membership as an attendee of several Hospitality Groups Associations including H.S.M.E. and HMCHA.
