- Estimates materials for new plans- Creates and maintains accurate material take-offs- Assists contract administrators with unitized material pricing- Monitors material usage in the field for overages/shortages- Records and analyze take-off data- Processes plan changes- Assists in plan value engineering- Review and evaluate cost estimates- Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and requirements; setting priorities.- Ensure timely completion of estimates- Communicate with team members regarding new and current projects- Resolves cost discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.- Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.- Maintains quality service by following organization standards.- Maintains continuity among corporate, division, and local work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by in-job training- Establishes and maintain working relationships with vendors and subcontractors- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
