Responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and support of Nova Systems hybrid infrastructure and critical business systems. Core responsiblilities included:- Maintenance of core infrastructure hardware across remote sites globally, including physical (DELL Servers, SANs) and virtual (Azure) servers- Creation, configuration and maintenance of Hyper-V servers and Windows Servers 2008-2016, rebuilding and patching servers where security vulnerabilities are present through vendor patches and group policy management- Veeam backup management, creation and management of backup SOP utilising a combination of physical tapes and file backups- Patching all client devices globally through Qualys, Intune and Group policy- Creation and management of Azure Virtual Desktops to ensure data sovereignty requirements are met- Provided high levels of technical support and guidance to the business and ICT team- After hours work as required
