I have been an Electrical Engineer in the Electrical utilities industry since June of 2009. I began working as controls engineer on the transmission system for several years before transitioning over to becoming a distribution planning engineer in 2011 due to a merger between my hiring company(Allegheny Power) and my current employer(FirstEnergy). Recently I have accepted a temporary position within our company as a substation engineer and will be performing tasks related to the general improvement and maintenance of our substation facilities throughout our West Virginia territory.
