Held several positions within this company as it transformed from Tyco Water to Pentair, then Viadux and lastly Reece. Undertaking three data migrations as we moved ERP systems, all were extremely successful, with virtually no data loss or downtime. Developed a CRM and quoting system under Tyco which was used by over 100 users in excess of 10 years, only being replaced after Reece moved the company onto their own proprietary software. This enabled me to implement a consistent pricing policy across the business, coupled with reporting, giving Managers a daily check only price quality.Constructed two data warehouses (as the business needs changed) and administered the adjoining Cognos reporting platform, delivering timely information to a business across 4 countries, ensuring answers were available before questions were asked. Later, migrating to Power BI to perform similar.Also worked with Cognos Planning to deliver a financial and stock control tool dispersing a budget in excess of $500m. In between times were spent supporting the businesses in other ways, SharePoint development, new PC roll outs, workflow tools to name a few, I made myself available for the business where it was needed.

Originally employed as a Marketing Analyst, my skills in IT soon took over and I moved from the Marketing stream into IT, always maintaining a focus on the sales and marketing arm of the business. Whilst here, I developed a CRM and quoting tool which went onto to be used for 10 years. My history in marketing also made me extremely useful in the pricing area, developing pricing models for the vast array of water industry products.

After being the R&D Manager and guiding the development of our card shufflers, I possessed more knowledge than most on how they operated and how to troubleshoot issues. I quickly became responsible for training casino technicians on maintenance. Speaking with gaming authorites in Nevada, Illinios, Montreal and Asia, it was my position to explain how the machine worked and provide statistical proof they were trully random. This led to our units being approved for sale in these regions which I followed up by installing and training casino personel on their use.

With a background in CAD and an IT degree, I helped develop one of the worlds first automated card shufflers for use in casinos around the world. Designing parts for manufacture, installing and testing my designs was all part of my position.
