In this role, I was responsible for researching and analyzing sector-specific securities for the student-run portfolio valued at over $270,000. The group primarily utilizes Bloomberg technology, Excel, and PowerPoint to create high-level presentations based on our analyses in order to persuade fellow analysts to follow the buy, sell, or hold recommendation during our bi-weekly meetings. In addition, I was fortunate enough to be exposed to guest speakers working in the industry to gain knowledge and helpful skills.
