About Corey Hamabata

Hospitality real estate investment specialist, having been involved in over US$5 billion of hospitality transactions globally with a focus on Asia Pacific and North America. The Covid-19 pandemic has caused major disruptions in travel patterns and tourism demand around the world. In partnership with Hong Kong-based multi-family office, Rockpool Capital, I have formed TREC Hospitality Investment to take advantage of this dislocation by acquiring under-performing hotels and resorts. TREC intends to create value through the renovation, rebranding and reconfiguration of properties while properly aligning interests by co-investing alongside our partners.
