As a Collections Coordinator at Johnson Controls, I've managed various accounts for branches on the east coast (Washington DC / Edison, NJ / Richmond, VA / Norfolk, VA / Pittsburgh, PA). My main duties are to keep the account's receivables current with JCI by collecting on service, equipment, controls, agreements, projects and consolidated invoices. I lead monthly AR Calls via phone with the branch discussing outstanding AR, disputes, large dollar invoices, and legal or lien/bond placement. I also submit cash move requests, remits, lien waiver requests, refund packets, bond packets, lien packets, and legal packets.When calling on the customers it's important to build strong relationships with them and meet their needs as well whether it is submitting lien waiver requests for them or helping them obtain other forms such as closing documents, certified payrolls, vouchers and such from the branch. It's important to be timely in response to their emails and voicemails to insure Johnson Controls gets paid in a timely manor.

As an Inside Sales / Customer Service Rep at United Products / Allied Building Products. I manage accounts and handle the day-to-day operations of taking orders and quoting projects. I also purchase special order material for customer orders and work directly between our customer and vendor. I have to negotiate the pricing from the vendors and setting proper sales margins on the special order material. I would create invoices, purchase orders, credit memos and close the daily books. I take roofing, siding, window, doors, storm windows & storm doors and decking orders/quotes. I set up deliveries whether they come directly from our warehouse, or if they go direct to the job-site from vendors. When customers are working on large commercial projects, I set their order up and place it with the vendor making sure full truckloads of special order material gets to the job in a timely manor and communication between customers, vendors and delivery drivers goes smoothly. When needed, I am capable of opening, closing and running the operations when the operations supervisor is gone and I make sure everything flows fluently throughout the day. Also, I can be in the yard pulling orders and am forklift certified. I also have my class BC commercial drivers license so I will make deliveries for customers when needed. My daily goal is to satisfy our customer's needs and build win-win relationships with customers, vendors and co-workers.
