• Created the 2010 Peconic Estuary Program - Marine Debris Pilot Study. Goals of this grant-funded program included outreach education on the impacts and BMP associated with Marine Debris, logistical volunteer management, marine debris data collection, statistical analysis, remediation and reporting.• Development of the NYSDEC Horseshoe Crab Spawning Index Study and Citizen Science Network: This work includes program development, site assessment, data collection/analysis and the coordination of 200+ remote volunteers annually at 16 sites across NY. Data used for NYSDEC fishery management. www.NYhoreseshoecrab.org • Stormwater specialist: Fulfill water quality contracts for municipalities within and including Suffolk County. GIS mapping of storm drain systems, tracking flow and collecting outfall discharge water samples. Lab experience with water quality testing, e.coli coliform enumeration, data analysis and DNA identification. I can analyze, interpret and model raw data, summarize projects, budgets, results, and offer remediation recommendations for point and non-point source pollutants.• Carman River Fish Passage Efficiency Study: Technically responsible for the design, engineering and implementation of several RFID Detection Systems, Acoustic Telemetry Tracking arrays, and video detection system within the river and connecting tributaries. Goals of the study are to evaluate the potential impediments in the river as well as evaluate the status of the river’s spawning habitat for several species of fish.• Other projects include: Outreach educational programs in aquaculture, habitat restoration, RFID infrastructure, project tracking and management. Vehicle and equipment maintenance/scheduling. Inshore and offshore fishery research, web development, marketing and budgeting. Scheduling and overseeing events (training workshops, conference call, webinars, educational outreach sessions)
