Trumbull Metal Specialties is a Gray, Ductile and Steel No-Bake Foundry specializing in low to medium run production castings. Our niche is doing what other foundries don't want to do ranging in casting sizes from 5 lbs to 2,500 lbs in a multitude of alloys. In 2012 we increased our capacity by purchasing a 105,000 sq.ft. building bringing our total plant space to over 150,000 sq.ft. Due to this expansion we are only running at about 50% capacity. In 2013 we upgraded our capabilites by purchasing a new Bruker Optical Emission Spectrometer enabling us to more tightly control our alloys and increase our offering of heavily alloyed stainless and tool steels. Our capabilities include using foam patterns, 3D printed molds, loose wood patterns in addition to standard production tooling. Additionally we can pour a variety of special alloys (Stainless Steel, Hastalloy, Inconel, Ni-Resist, etc..) in batches as small as 100 lbs enabling us to quickly turn around single piece orders in days rather than weeks or months.
