Accomplishments: • Chosen by Director to help design the University's Master's program in Cybersecurity. • Competently developed Master's level Info Sec course to be taught by all instructors.• Developed network, security, and programming courses to be taught by all instructors. Complimented by department head for developing the best course he had ever seen. Other Responsibilities: • For one year, was CIS Department Head. Directed other professors, including employee reviews. Liaison to Director of Education. • Online instructor for numerous security, networking, and programming courses. • Motivated students to succeed by giving constructive and thorough feedback on assignments.

Accomplishments: • Separated Administration from Student networks by designing and implementing separate Windows Active Directory networks. • Individually responsible for planning, building, and supporting fifty-station computer lab, including software imaging and security policies using Altiris Deployment Server. • Implemented Internet firewall (MS ISA Server) and content filter (Websense) to ensure network security and integrity, and to protect students from undesirable online content. Other Responsibilities: • Directed all IT related decisions at this small college; I was sole fulltime IT employee. • Advised upper management on technical direction and security practices.

Accomplishments: • Held primary (senior) technical responsibility for planning, purchasing, and implementing transition from small Banyan network to enterprise Windows domain of 45+ servers and 1,000 users; did much of the hands-on hardware and software implementations. • With an annual budget of a quarter of a million dollars, maintained Windows network and planned network growth to accommodate increased technology needs. • Directed and worked with computer support Helpdesk to create standard processes for delivering high quality, timely support to faculty and staff.• Standardized hardware and software configuration of all desktops and servers in the College, thus saving money, time, and support costs.• Competently engineered technical details and managed projects of large-scale desktop rollouts of hardware and software. • Designed and managed college-wide TCP/IP reengineering project to increase network performance. • Implemented effective data backup system and procedures, integrating FDDI SAN for efficiency and to start process of moving to server virtualization.
