Provide automation and control solutions for industrial clients, mainly oil and gas companies. Main responsibilities are the development of PLC and HMI systems to provide central offices with information and control of their processes in the field. Familiar with developing on GE, Rockwell/AB, and Modicon-Scheider PLC's, and making HMI's using Wonderware/InTouch, and Proface.Frequently required to travel sites to install software and test functionality with the SCADA system, and also to provide support from an automation standpoint to any issues impacting company operations.

Responsible for the installation of wayside signalling equipment. Successfully planned and executed a major CTC upgrade project on one of the railway's busiest corridors under live traffic conditions. The upgrade was to replace the existing CTC system with one which provided followup moves via intermediate signals. The upgrade also required that the legacy DC track circuit railway crossings also be upgraded to modern predictor crossings. The results of this project garnered the attention and praise of the company's highest management and received a nomination for the company's performance award for the year.

Supervised a group of maintenance employees and technicians for CN's Engineering - Signals and Communications Department. Responsibilities were to ensure that the field S&C equipment received regular testing to meet both CN and regulatory testing requirements. Equipment including CTC Interlocking, Railway Crossings, Defect Detectors, and the Radio Network. Responsible for restoring service whenever there was an outage, and for investigate incidents involving public and asset safety.
