- Build and maintain strong relationships with service providers (shipping lines, trucking companies, and others)- Respond to requests for proposal, quotation or information timely and with market competitive pricing matching the scope of service required by the customer- Take an active role in the transition of new business/updates to existing business- Manage and communicate market updates and General Rate Increases (GRI’s) to customers, as well as internally.- Allocate workloads within team to ensure smooth operations during peak activity or staff absence.- Ensure all staff and positions have job descriptions, clear expectations and are working with structured development plans

- Interact with our customers in arranging their international shipments, meeting customer service standards- Understand department process flow and identify best practices to improve operational efficiency and productivity - Ensure documents are sent timely to customer or broker for customs purposes- Accurate and timely validation of client and service provider billing

My job entails understanding various modes of transportation in order to accommodate to our customer's unique shipping needs. We provide cost efficient solutions to meet our customer's time-sensitive deadlines. We handle everything from same day air expedite, ground expedite, LTL, temperature sensitive products, and "white glove" special services.

- Specialize in full truck load, refrigerated truck load, and ground expedite transportation.- Continue to grow and develop a safe and reliable network of carriers to handle shipments on a daily basis.- Understand various markets throughout the U.S. and negotiate competitive rates with carriers.- Receive and process invoices on a weekly basis to ensure timely and accurate cash flow.

- Enforce established nightly procedures to promote store cleanliness and organization- Experience communicating and working with vendors- Monitor store inventory levels and replenish merchandise- Evaluate and process invoices on a daily basis
