I oversaw and managed the efficacy and reproducibility associated with our direct current, periodic pulse reverse current, and electroless copper plating lines. I managed a plating process improvement team that strove to continuously improve our plating quality and consistency, as well as, provide cost savings ideas to make the process leaner. I applied root cause analysis on a daily basis to resolve any plating related issues. I worked closely with our wet lab to help maintain balance of the chemistry in the baths at all plating lines and performed CVS analysis on occasion. I assisted TTM sister divisions in troubleshooting product related issue through SEM/EDX analysis. I utilized 3D printing as a means to reduce spare parts cost at our plating line. I communicated with and managed customer and vendor visits related to process improvements and troubleshooting. I have also lead the commissioning and qualification of a new plating process.

I ensured the safety and security of all patrons in the Sports and Recreation Center. I normally worked closing hours so I handle all actions items associated with that shift. I assisted sports teams and our facilities group with setup for games and events. I submited a report after every shift.

I assisted students with material during office hours and proctored exams for the Plastics, Coating & Surface Treatment, and Smart Materials courses.

I handled phone calls from companies and the general public, medical and theft issues, I filled out paperwork, I cleaned and put away equipment, and I directly interacted with students and faculty that had any issues or requests.

I performed stress analysis calculations both by hand and through simulation used ANSYS workbench. Developed reports for each part analyzed and presented them in a technical review to my team lead. Collaborated with both full-time workers and co-ops during projects. Performed nonconformance evaluations for various parts damaged in the fabrication process. Developed presentations on my results for each nonconformance and presented my results to a team lead. Each week I had to prepare a presentation on my work progress and participated in Q&A sessions afterwards.

The major project I worked on consisted of performing temperature tests on sulfur filters under various conditions. These conditions included vacuum, nitrogen purging followed by propane purging. I set up each test and afterwards wrote procedures on how to set up, conduct, and record data for each test.
