As the line supervisor, I was responsible for:Operating and supervising the Ward rotary 4 colour flexographic printing and die cutting machine.Supervising a crew of 4 scheduling work throughout the shift and communicating with management of maintenance that needs done on the machine.Overseeing the manufacturing of corrugated packaging products that my machine would produce and ensuring both quality and precision is 100% perfect at all times.Ensuring I maintained a good work environment and making sure everyone on my team was satisfied with their roles.Training and developing new operators at feeding and building on our converting machines.Training and developing general production operators on operating the Ward machinery so that they were able to progress into becoming a Line Supervisor or Assistant Line Supervisors themselves.In this role, I have been trained by a certified professional in the lean management program and as a line supervisor, I follow the Kaizen 5s program to maintain a good tidy organised and safe work area. Also, in role of line supervisor, I am responsible for looking after my machine so when any maintenance or repaired needed undertaking, I would contact the senior engineer and assist in any way I could.
