Everyone has a story and a reason for doing what they do, right? I stumbled upon my love for the healthcare field at a young age. When my father was 25 years old he had been in a car accident leaving him paralyzed on his entire right side. Eventually, he was able to get most of his feeling back through physical therapy. It is amazing how the human body can repair itself with the right guidance and a little self-motivation. I want to be able to support people on their journey to recovery and give them the tools they need to be successful. I want someone to look at me and say, "because of you I didn't give up."While my goals have shifted from physical therapy to speech therapy I still have a love for healthcare and helping others.
