Oversee development efforts for Hilton in the Southwest region. Covering all brands in six different states.

This newly created position directly impacts the growth of Hilton Worldwide's development and implementation of the strategic sales plan for our new Collection and Lifestyle brands for franchise sales. Responsible for sales activity with the Collection and Lifestyle brands for new franchise locations. This position also identifies locations for development/conversion opportunities and works with prospective franchisees to facilitate the submittal and approval of franchise applications and management agreements. The Sr. Director, Development, develops and delivers sales training and professional guidance to enable staff to achieve departmental and company sales objectives.

Manage the Product Improvement Team which oversees all global full service hotels (Embassy Suites, Doubletree by Hilton, Hilton Hotels and Resorts) active Product Improvement Plans (300+).Responsible for the strategic execution of multiple and varied projects relating to Hilton brand’s ongoing global product improvement and new hotel development including more than 540 existing hotels and resorts plus 80+ hotels in the development pipeline.Create and negotiate hotel product improvement plans on behalf of the brand with hotel ownership groups, HiltonDevelopment, Design and Construction, and Quality Assurance teams.Review and track the compliance of capital expenditures and product improvement renovations ongoing at Hilton Worldwide full service hotels.Manage the product improvement plan for re-licensing Hilton hotels, in conjunction with Contract Administration by conducting research and communicating with all involved parties including ownership groups.Conduct hotel site inspections for new and existing hotels with ownership and hotel executive teams.Lead the Product Improvement global efforts in emerging markets (Asia Pacific, Middle East, and Europe). Quarterly onsite training of the regional offices Design and Construction and Development teams on brand attributes. Growth of international portfolio is currently at 200 plus deals for full service brands.

Managed a six million dollar renovation repositioning the hotel. Directed all aspects of operation (including F&B) focusing on revenue building through enhanced revenue management.Improved service standards and employee motivation introducing quality and empowerment programs. Directed a team of over 100 team members for day to day operations. Successfully took valet parking in house which added 200k to the bottom line. Improved QA and SALT scores at the hotel year over year from 1998- 2002. Served on task force for other Stanford Hotel Corporation (San Francisco, CA) conversions
