When Covid hit many of us were forced to find new opportunities. I had worked at a youth sports equipment company for almost 15 years but shortly after our stay at home order was lifted, almost half of my customers said they did not feel comfortable purchasing anything for the upcoming seasons, while the other half said they already cancelled their season. Sadly, by June I was forced to look for a new position and the company was soon out of business.I was looking for a WFH position that would allow me to give back. I was tired of selling products that did not have a significant impact. I had been interviewing for jobs in real estate, customer service and other sporting goods company for almost 6 months.
