Inspired by the buildings of my hometown of Chicago, my focus has always been centered around architecture and design. My desire to learn how people, buildings, and environments evolve has grown in Chicago and expanded globally in many other cities. I began my career studying the individual experience in places that we live, work and play, and believe the most important aspect of design is how we perceive and move through these spaces. Outside of work, I have been a mentor with the ACE Mentor Program of America to encourage Chicago high school students to pursue careers in architecture, engineering and construction. I enjoy talking about my passion for architecture and bringing it to others who experience the same great city I see everyday. After finishing my undergraduate studies in Architecture at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign, I completed my Masters of Architecture at the Illinois Institute of Technology. Following my education, I worked at Space Architects+Planners and now currently work at Perkins+Will. I received my Architect License in 2018.
