Teaches curriculum that is focused on incidents perpetrated by international and domestic terrorists; the scientific composition, action, identification, and decontamination of CBRNE agents having the potential for use in a terrorist incident; managing a CBRNE incident scene; tactical decision-making, response planning, and hands-on familiarization training with specialized protective clothing and equipment; and Federal support to state and local jurisdictions. Contributes to curriculum improvement through continuous research and input for course revision. Maintains a knowledge base as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in all assigned course content. CBRNe SME attached to Special Operations Joint Task Force- Operation Inherent Resolve (SOJTF-OIR) Naval Special Warfare (NSW SEALs), and Australian Special Operations in an advise and assist mission to Iraqi Special Forces/Counter Terrorism Services (CTS), and Conventional Iraqi & Kurdish Forces to combat and prevent CBRNe threats and casualties, identify unknown hazards, sampling of potential CBRNe Hazards, and decontaminate/provide immediate care for CBRNe casualties for Operation Inherent Resolve. Additionally served as a medical technician while deployed forward to a Tactical Assembly Area (TAA), assisting a MD with the evaluation, treatment, and stabilization of casualties with injuries ranging from small injuries/illnesses requiring basic first aid, treatment CBRNe injuries, to severe trauma as a result of combat.

My duties as the C2CRE NCOIC include overseeing all pre-deployment operations, planning, logistics, finance, and maintenance. Supervising full time staff and their day to day operations and also part time staff and their monthly operations. Plan and coordinate all logistics for possible deployment. Budget for all training exercises and any additional training requirements. Input pay and travel orders for all C2CRE related training or possible missions. Oversee maintenance of all detection equipment and mission essential equipment for the Mass Casualty Decontamination Element and the Reconnaissance Element, and build Maintenance plans for all equipment.

My duties as the Command and Control CBRN Response Element Bravo Team (C2CRE-B) Operations Non Commissioned Officer/ Reconnaissance Platoon Sergeant/ NCOIC are planning and management of Operations for the Recon Element for the C2CRE-B Mission, which is to respond to a full spectrum of CBRNE incidents that could occur domestically. To include the potential for release of toxic industrial materials as a result of anatural disaster, accident, or terrorist attack. Which have the potential to incur significant loss of life, cause mass panic, inflict large-scale physical and economic damage, and present consequence management challenges greater than those resulting from previous disasters.

As the C2CRE Training NCO my duties were tracking all training certificates required for the C2CRE mission, budgeting for training events, inputting pay and travel orders. Planning and scheduling of required training courses. Built training schedules for all training mission, internal courses, and some external courses.

Served as a CBRN Specialist from May 2007- Feb 2012. As a CBRN Specialist my duties consisted of, assisting in the establishment and application of CBRN defense measures. Providing training advice and supervision regarding the proper use and maintenance procedures for CBRN equipment and operations. Operating and perform operator maintenance on CBRN identification/detection and decontamination equipment. Training military and civilian personnelfirst responders on CBRN response operations. Operating and maintaining CBRN detection and decontamination equipment.Deployed to Kuwait in 2009 with the 1343rd CBRN Company, 151st CBRN BN, 115th Fires Brigade in direct support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Served as a gunner on an Area Response Force, and assisted in the Tatical Operation Center.
