- The company worked with Michigan WIC to support the Summer Electronic Benefit Transfer for Children (SEBTC) program, or Summer EBT for Children. The purpose of the program is to help families feed their children well-balanced and nutritious breakfasts and lunches during the summer months when school meals are not readily available. The SEBTC program uses a Bridge Card for electronic benefit transfer (EBT) similar to WIC system.- The program serviced children and families in the Alpena/Houghton, Detroit, Grand Rapids/Kentwood and Mid-Michigan areas.- As an employee, I worked the customer service line for this program and assisted people in those areas with getting their cards, assisting with getting their information correct on where they live, who were their children and how to properly add them to the program, and any other needs they had to make sure their children were well-nourished in those summer months.- Skilled in using: SEBTC log system and ADP

- Interned with the director of corporate partnerships for George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia- he was responsible for overseeing and executing the corporate partnerships sales efforts for the athletics department at George Mason as well as the 10,000 seat EagleBank Arena.- I helped setup an event that took place at the opening of a brand-new Wendy's restaurant on the campus by drawing out the schematics and working on how to make it a fun time for the students as well as any customers coming into the restaurant.- I had a meeting with the director and his colleagues and I presented my schematics ideas to them to see what their thoughts were prior to the event.- I also helped set up an event for the men's soccer game, which included fun games and food stands.- I gained a lot of marketing experience as well as an understanding of what goes into corporate partnerships with the athletics programs at the university.
