Developed a table management desktop application for vendor restaurant owners. Vendors can create and modify restaurant layouts in the application, including the layout of their tables as well as seating arrangements depending on the seat count needed. Vendors can create tables of specific types and capacity, assign table identifiers, seat guests at specific tables, and quickly determine whether a table is occupied, reserved, or open. Vendors will also have the ability to associate orders and ticket operations with specific tables. Worked as part of a small team using Component Driven Development Methodology. Also incorporated Agile development practices such as pair programming, two-week sprints, a product backlog and individual sprint backlogs, and user stories. Built UI components using React with Hooks, TypeScript, Styled Components, Node.js, and React-Draggable. Developed and tested components in isolation using Storybook. Published UI components to an open-source component library using GitHub and NPM. Utilized Component Driven Development throughout the project.

Attorney, Co-Founder
In 2010, I co-founded the law firm of Findley & Rogers, PLLC. For the next nine years, I successfully grew the firm and represented hundreds of clients with a variety of legal issues. My practice emphasized two areas of law: estate planning and post-sentencing criminal defense. In my post-sentencing defense practice, I helped individuals restore their civil rights and address past criminal or legal issues so they could have better access to employment, housing, and other opportunities. As an attorney, I represented clients in all stages of litigation, providing guidance, interpretation, and advocacy through all aspects of the legal system. I drafted, filed, and argued legal motions on behalf of clients, working extensively with courts, administrative agencies, and other government bodies to advance client interests and keep all involved parties up to date.Business development was also a large part of my role at Findley & Rogers. I worked collaboratively with my business partner and with third-party service providers to develop business growth strategies. I consistently worked to identify and prioritize areas of improvement in day-to-day operations and to establish systems for increased efficiency in all areas of the business.
Legal Intern
In this role, I researched and prepared legal memoranda for cases involving land use issues. I also attended hearings, depositions, client meetings, and legislative planning meetings.
Legal Intern
While working with the King Co. Ombudsman's Office, I produced legal memoranda on issues involving Washington water law, the common enemy doctrine, and constitutional takings jurisprudence. I also joined the ombudsman in site visits, client interviews, and meetings of interested parties.
