This position is responsible for partnering in all research related activities in the department, with primary oversight of studies working in the pre-hospital and critical care hospital environments. This position works within the National Neurologic Emergency Treatment Trials network working collaboratively with both local and national resources. This position is the liaison to the local EMS resources and does all the end user EMT and Paramedic training regarding these research studies. As the local Coordinator for three nation-wide research projects, this position is responsible for the management of all regulatory, source documentation, financial, and logistical coordination components of the execution of the RAMPART, RAMPART-PEER, and ProTECT III studies. This position directly interacts with patients from enrollment and consent through end of study activities This includes clinical subject visits for both ongoing data collection and CRF completion as well as administering neuropsychometic testing batteries. Safety Manager: Responsible for creation of this department within Life Link III, this area oversaw monitoring and assessment of health, risk management, worker’s compensation, and safety health codes, and regulatory compliance. Additionally, this resulted in the development and implementation of emergency preparedness and business continuity plans. Vehicle Procurement and Fleet Maintenance Manager: Responsibility for vehicle fleet maintenance and vehicle procurement, which included financials, strategic planning, forecasting, and expense detailing for vehicle specification.

Primarily responsible for providing EMS Education to pre-hospital and hospital clinical staff in an adult learning environment, this position requires a current and active clinician that is responsible for course coordination through all phases of planning and development to completion. This position also requires training and supervision of assistant instructor staff.
