Our beliefs are rooted in nature which has taught us that true sustainability sits at the intersection of human experience and environmental stewardship.We remain committed to our roots in sustainability and are excited to shift the focus to people with our unique Human-Centered Design approach. Everything we do and why we do it is guided by our longstanding purpose of Improving Life through Better Built Environments.Our name is inspired by the natural environment that lives all around us. Branch patterns are the building blocks of natural systems. Humanity is innately drawn to these elegant and efficient fractals. This deep connection is represented throughout mankind’s history of science, art, engineering and architecture. Upon closer look, the buildings and infrastructure we help create are full of branch patterns.

Metal Health break from the rush and stress of engineering, AKA having as much fun as possible! Lots of new and old hobbies explored and re-explored, bigger and better bike rides and hikes, time with close friends, and visiting family and friends at home. But now I am back to engineering and more driven than ever!

Researched global, national, and local developments on retrofitting historical buildings.Created both a framework and a design to enhance the engineering operation of these buildings.Designed the building envelope, HVAC system, emergency system, electrical system, and storm water management system.Included a design budget, a construction budget, retrofit savings calculation, a return on investment, as well as a construction schedule for the retrofit.Prepared an extensive written report and provided an oral presentation to university faculty and students.

Performed cost estimates for multiple projects such as asphalt resurfacing and lighting solutions.Researched new and upcoming energy efficiency technologies, such as LED lighting and sensors, and incorporated them into multiple buildings in the area.Worked with multiple Project Sustainability Checklists, Outline Specifications, Product Data Sheets, and CAD drawings on design development submissions for renovation projects.

Performed inventory control and stocked shelves to meet business needs, bagged groceries, collected carts, and unloaded trucks with store supplies.Trained new employees, and assisted in closing store at night.
