Completed work towards a thesis entitled, "Identification of Novel Kinase Targets for the treatment of ER-negative Breast Cancer". Utilized genomic and proteomic profiling and associated bioinformatic analyses to identify novel subtypes of ER-negative breast cancer as well as identified novel targets for the treatment of triple negative breast cancer. Additionally, my work led directly to the approval and opening of a Phase II biological efficacy study of dasatinib in women with advanced triple negative disease currently accruing patients and on which I am a co-investigator. This work led to multiple grants, fellowships, awards, platform presentations, patents, and publications.2007 Trainee, Cold Spring Harbor Intensive Training CourseIntegrative Data Analysis for High Throughput Biology,; Attended intensive course instructed by Vincent Carey, Harmen Bussemaker, Partha Mitra, and Mark Reimers which was designed to teach proficiency in expression microarray analysis, CHIP-chip analysis, PCA, SNP arrays, proteomic array and other strategies for analyzing high throughput biological data. Also received bioinformatic training in the lab of Dr. John Quackenbush, investigator in the Harvard, Dana Farber Cancer Institute, and MIT bioinformatic consortium
