Independently worked 5-6 days a week surveying PSE owned gas lines and meters. Responsible for determining any unsafe circumstances and surveying for leaks, upkeeping equipment and vehicle and writing concise reports. Very quickly learned the job and became a top producer within the first month of being independent. Never missed a monthly incentive bonus and only missed the single top producer incentive a couple times. Incentive bonuses were determined based on how many services you could complete daily and monthly (forms filled out for meters 99% of the time). Proved and improved people skills through countless interactions with customers in many circumstances. Often uncomfortable circumstances included going onto customers property to find gas meters that were in inconvenient locations such as the back or side of the house.My strong work ethic in combination with my ability to work efficiently allowed me to easily complete my tasks and go above and beyond the required services for incentive bonuses. As I became more experienced, I was entrusted with the less desirable, more challenging work. These often included areas that were physically challenging to navigate that others said they could not access, such as pipelines running through less developed areas. I ultimately decided to leave Hydromax because I didn't see a desirable path upward within the company and developed aspirations to be more fulfilled in my job. I learned a lot working with Hydromax and feel that I proved my prowess as an efficient, self sufficient worker that could always be relied upon to do my job correctly the first time.
