Hello! I'm Corey Johnson, currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management at the University of Wyoming, set to graduate in May 2025.Passionate about the construction industry, I'm dedicated to educating myself and delving into various aspects of construction at UW. My focus lies in custom construction, particularly in homes and agricultural facilities. Beyond classroom learning, I've immersed myself in hands-on experiences and internships, gaining real-world insights into the construction industry.Currently, I am the Co-Owner at Reckless Innovation Company, a venture I launched in January 2024. This role involves driving innovation and shaping the future of our projects, specializing in custom-built mini powersports products and designing new market-ready items. The position has honed my skills in management, communication, scheduling, and marketing, challenging me to think creatively and strategically.With several summers of experience as a Construction Management Intern at Mathison Custom Builders in Frisco, Colorado, I've acquired valuable insights into the intricacies of construction projects. Specializing in the challenge and art of custom, luxury homes, I aim to leverage the skills gained for future endeavors. This hands-on experience has allowed me to refine my skills in construction management, scheduling, planning, and on-site facilitating – distinguishing strengths in the industry.In my previous role at Summit Luxury Estates, where I served as a Customer Service Liaison/Maintenance Manager, I developed strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, alongside maintenance, remodeling, and customer service expertise. This experience equipped me with the ability to manage customer relationships effectively and ensure smooth maintenance processes.Well rounded in relevant education and certifications , I hold certifications in FAA 107: Commercial Drone Pilot licensing, OSHA 30 Hour Construction Industry Outreach Safety, DroneDeploy Construction Analyst, LEED Green Associate, and Procore Certified: Student.
