I am 24 years old and currently in my senior year at the University of Alabama, where I am in the final stages of attaining my bachelor’s degree in accounting with a completed minor in Computing Technologies and Applications (CTA). As I near the end of my academic journey, I am thrilled to have accepted a position at “Vantage-CFO,” with a start date of August 9th, 2024. Vantage CFO is a leading accounting firm with offices in Atlanta, GA and Huntsville, AL. With a team of experienced professionals, we provide comprehensive financial services to businesses of all sizes.Over the past three years at UA, I have successfully earned 68 credits while maintaining a 3.0 GPA, earning a spot on the Dean's List twice. I completed my minor in CTA in Fall 2022, which provided me with essential skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and database design using ERDPlus and Microsoft Access/Excel, alongside foundational knowledge in SQL coding. I am currently focused on my studies in the upper accounting division, preparing for my future career.In the summer of 2023, I had the opportunity to intern with The Acceleration Group (TAG), a financial technology and specialty lending platform based in Huntsville, AL, and Knoxville, TN, that supports craft spirit companies. This experience was invaluable, and I’ve continued working part-time remotely as I complete my degree. I am incredibly grateful for the chance to learn from an outstanding team of financial officers and am eager to bring my skills and knowledge to Vantage-CFO.
