Co-Owner of a small market garden and specialty nursery. I manage all aspects of the operation including the CSA program, nursery production, farm maintenance, website design, and social media marketing.Hildaberry Permaculture Farm & Nursery is a small-scale market garden and specialty nursery which operates using regenerative agriculture methods. We operate a CSA subscription program as well as sell our nursery plants at retail to the local market.

Cascadian Nurseries is a large wholesale nursery that supplies landscape plants to landscape contractors and designers. I worked with a small crew unloading trucks, putting away stock, pulling orders, assisting customers, and maintaining greenhouse irrigation. I gained lots of experience with front end loaders, which I used to unload semi-trucks and load large trees into customer's trucks.

Director of Farm Operations at Ronin Farm and Restaurant in Bryan, TX. I oversaw all aspects of the vegetable, fruit, and herb production throughout the 2-acres of garden plots. I worked independently, as well as supervised crews of 2 or 3 workers, to grow specialty crops using permaculture and biodynamic methods. In addition, I helped with food preparation and plating for private catered events. This involved prepping vegetables and plating dishes served to large groups of patrons.

Supervised a crew of 10 horticulture technicians in the field of interior landscaping. Helping with all aspects of the company including production, maintenance, installation, and delivery. Worked independently on designated routes to ensure quality appearance of client's interior landscape displays.

Agricultural Research Technician working under the direct supervision of the Horticulturist at the Plant Germplasm and Testing Research Center in Pullman, WA. Worked independently, as-well-as supervised a crew of student workers to propagate, grow, and harvest seeds from medicinal plants. Duties included greenhouse management, field plot preparation, plant propagation, transplanting, harvesting, data collection, data entry, and ELISA testing for lettuce mosaic virus.
