I manage and implement strategic security improvements and lead incident response and digital forensics services for a range of organisations across New Zealand.I implement solutions to security problems. I enjoy working with clients who have the appetite to take items off the risk register or out of the "too hard" basket.My experience as an incident responder helps me in my consulting capacity to provide organisations with a holistic view of where they can best reduce their attack surface and achieve the greatest risk reduction while managing constraints such as budget, capacity and time. I'm also a big advocate for helping organisations get maximum value from their investment in security tools (e.g. SIEM/SOAR, Firewall, Proxy, AV, IDS/IPS) through tuning, staff training, process development and automation. Just like anything, It's not what you have, it's what you do with it that counts!
