-Successfully managed daily operations of the plant, including 118 staff, production processes and product deliverables.-Bargained two successful Collective Agreements (UFCW) in 2010 and 2013 which resulted in timely settlements.-Managed and supervised staff employees, which included recruiting, interviewing, hiring, orientation and training, coaching and managing performance. Staff turnover rate was low. -Worked with the Marketing Group (Consumer Brands) to promote/develop new products. This included determining the specs, assessing existing equipment, and making equipment and process changes to accommodate the innovation. -Resolved issues regarding the reconciliation and controlling of Raw Milk payments, usages and inventories.-Participated on and chaired various Committees; DAC, ADC, ABCRC, SARC, AB Milk, Dairy Regulation and Milk West Steering Committee.-Set and exceeded production goals. -Created and monitored the Financial Plan/Budget and consistently came in under budget. -Developed and mentored Direct Reports for future advancement. This included meeting with them quarterly to review their Personal Development Plan and working with them to ensure they were on track to meet their short and long terms goals. This resulted in many staff members being promoted to higher positions within the company. -Managed planning and implementation of Capital Projects -Focused on safety by being an active steward throughout the facility, being involved in meetings and chairing quarterly Town Halls to promote safety and to congratulate teams on results. Received the Injury Free Plant Award
