About Corey Zimmerman
With a deep passion for supporting the healthy development of all babies and toddlers, my career has been focused on taking what we know about early childhood development and making it actionable in policy and practice. I love working in spaces where I am building first iterations of new strategies and learning fast. Currently, I am the Deputy Director and Chief Engagement and Partnerships Officer at the Center on the Developing Child at Harvard. In this role, I am a member of the senior leadership team and design our organizational strategy for the short and long term. I also lead a team of amazing people who create and run a range of capacity-building offerings for policymakers, social entrepreneurs, practitioners, and others. I guide this work from the accumulated wisdom gained over twenty years of experience transforming the conditions and experiences that shape the lives of young children and their families. I am currently quite interested in policies, programs, and ideas at the intersection of climate change and early childhood development.
