Phase 1: Brought in as Business Analyst to provide analysis on the Short Term Stability project. Responsibilities:- Getting up to speed very quickly as testing and development was already underway. - Recovering from the loss of the project manager days after beginning the position, and being asked to wear both hats until a replacement could be found, nearly two months later.- Catalogued existing business requirements in order to create appropriate quality assurance test cases, and craft appropriate error responses when we ran into difficulties.- Documented and crafted appropriate communication to senior management on a weekly basis. - Created a catalog of deliverables that fell out of the project scope due to deadline or resource constraints.Phase 2, Finance Optimization Project: After completion of the Short Term Stability project, Phase 2 involved in the following: - Assisting in the conversion of the existing EDW from a legacy UDB database to a Teradata platform. - Assist in moving from a Waterfall-style project implementation to an Agile release schedule- Creation of user stories in, using Jira Atlassian tools.- Authoring requirements for new and converted reports for the offshore development team to use in the conversion.- Cataloging all MicroStrategy Metrics, Facts & Attributes (Over 6,000 in total)- Finding/writing Business Definitions of all Metrics, Facts & Attributes- Identifying Owners of Metrics, Facts & Attributes- Working with the Teradata Data Architects to find answers to questions- Working with the Project Manager to shape expectations, set timelines, build communication for senior Target managements- Work with the Change Agents to assist in setting up User Testing, Change Agent Labs, and specialized training- Work with the Stores team to merge the Finance and Stores MicroStrategy reporting projects in order to reduce the number of duplicated Metrics, Facts and Attributes- Assisted in upgrading MicroStrategy from v. 9.0.2 to 9.3
