About Corey Bourassa
I enjoy a challenge, so I spend my days solving some of the world's most difficult engineering problems.As a technical leader, I am fortunate to pursue my passion for technology development with a team of world-class technologists and researchers innovating solutions for the Aviation, Health Care, Power, Renewables, and Transportation segments. In my current role, I lead a team of researchers innovating solutions to the many thermal challenges arising from the drive to higher-efficient and more durable products. I received a Ph.D. in Aerospace engineering with a focus in fluid mechanics, specifically turbulent boundary layer flow physics. My career began designing and building experiments and making measurements; over the years I've spent a greater amount of my time applying computational fluid dynamics codes and experimental methods to real world engineering problems. Building on that foundation, I grew my responsibilities for product and technology development as project leader and program manager. When not working, I am a father of two, amateur photographer and enthusiastically follow Formula 1.
