Stepped in three weeks before the first shoot date, with no Production Manager on board, to coordinate a Nickelodeon pilot kids reality show hosted by A-list celebrities. Two weeks into the project, a Production Manager joined our small crew of 30. Managed vendors, permits, locations, talent, PA's, call sheets and on-set covid compliance and covid testing schedules. Reconciled all accounts in post. Our shoot days went as planned with few hiccups.

I was recruited by Larta Institute’s President and CEO for my combined experience in marketing and economic development to become the first Marketing and Communications Director in the organization’s 25-year history, with the aim to give them a professional veneer and establish the CEO and organization as thought leaders in their field. My key accomplishments and responsibilities:• Build and manage a Marketing and Communications department aligned with the organization’s key strategies• Develop Larta Institute’s key messaging. Trained the organization on how to deliver it.• Write, research and distribute 2014, 2015 and 2016 Annual Reports• Develop, produce and distribute the organization’s first podcast series, “Ideas, energized.”• Write Larta Institute’s animated video that played on the homepage of Larta.org for two years• Revitalize the organization’s forgotten blog, Vox, to a monthly stream of blog topics relative to innovation, investment, and policy in life sciences, agriculture and clean tech. Built and retained a readership of 10k+. Contributing Editor. • Applied for and won two significant awards, Tibbetts and SSTI.• A suite of marketing 1-Sheets for the organizations practices, Industry Advisory Board, international commercialization program, and quarterly agtech forum• PR, Social Media and marketing strategies for all events, including the Ag Innovation Showcase• Press releases• Hired PR consultant to fill in thought leader strategy gaps such as speaker’s bureaus, OpEds, publication opportunities, interview opportunities for print, radio and tv• Develop executive presentations• Final executive eye on all materials and media

Managed the marketing, grant writing and fundraising strategies for a small Los Angeles based arts organization. Was copy writer for press releases, ad copy and fundraising letters. Accomplishments included:• Ensemble won a Grammy Award for Best Small Ensemble – Classical.• Commendation from the Mayor of Los Angeles.• Augmented the active personal contributor’s list.• Added three new funders to the organization’s grant wins. We met our fundraising goals the year during my tenure.

My path at City National began as a freelance Marketing professional responsible for client experience, internal communications and segmentation. In April, 2010 I transitioned into the role of Vice President for client experience. During my tenure I fostered a leadership program for colleagues that was featured just last year in the New York Times as a model for the program. It is not unusual for members of the Marketing team here to produce and manage internal and external communications.My key accomplishments and responsibilities:• Manage and update City National’s onboarding system for core banking customers. This customizable online tool is a business retention instrument we use to guide a new client’s experience. Under my management, this once under-utilized tool now receives four times more traffic each month and client satisfaction improvements.• Fostered and managed a successful internal story telling program through an internal blog and colleague recognition program. This is colleague-driven program markets City National's high-touch service culture to its internal colleagues. It also supports new hire orientation and a company-wide drive for referrals. • Produced quarterly client experience videos to work seamlessly with the Bank's overall marketing strategy, which were showcased every year at the company’s annual leadership meeting.• Managed and wrote social media content for the bank’s Reading is The way up literacy program.• Collaborated with Sales, Human Resources and Operations Management to design Referral Training for non-client facing colleagues. Additionally, produced successful referral videos to train colleagues how to ask for referrals and drive business to the company.• Spearheaded and chaired the bank’s first Client Experience Council, which brought together colleagues across all channels of the bank for client experience projects that were previously too big to change for the organization.

Member of Napa's early music chamber group, Les Violettes. Founded by continuo team Violet Grgich (harpsichord) and Colin Shipman (viol). Les Violettes specializes in, but not limited to music, of the French Baroque.

Co-directed a blue-ribbon committee of business, labor and academic leaders in Los Angeles to present an economic development report of recommendations for job growth and a stronger economy in the City of Los Angeles. Accomplishments included:• Researched and co-wrote the final report presented to the Mayor of Los Angeles.• Prepared research for the committee members.• Managed and facilitated nearly a hundred committee meetings, including meetings with the mayor, his staff and City Council members.• Managed a team of interns.The final report of 100 recommendations was presented to Mayor Villaraigosa January 23rd, 2008 at a press conference at City Hall. Actually this continues to run concurrently, yet intermittently, so I am not including it in my "Current" employment. Recent performances of Purcell's The Fairy Queen with Musica Angelica received rave reviews.
