My time at Bowling Green State University was part of my academic bachelors degree. As my degree programme is in International Business, this was part of the sandwich year in year 3, which I chose to do as a study year abroad. The experience was a "one in a life time" opportunity and enabled me to excel in many different skills including: enhancing my understanding of different culture, improving my resilience; as the period was throughout COVID-19, as well as generally finding my self awareness and problem solving as a result of travelling to and from the United States. Whilst at BGSU in Ohio, I had the opportunity to study different module topics including: Real Estate, Entrepreneurship, Sport Management, International Business, French, Financial Management, and much more! Overall, all of these classes have been a key factor in my continued determination for success in the business environment and contributed to a wider knowledge and understanding of different topics. On the social side, the experience allowed me to create friendships that will last a life time. Being part of the college soccer team also gave me the chance to meet many different people, from many different backgrounds through out America. Traveling around the North West of Ohio for soccer games was a highlight of mine and I certainly will not forget. In summary, having the opportunity to go on this study year abroad ha helped me develop many new attributes to my professional skills and I have created to relationships which could blossom further into my career path. Dammam First Industrial City, Eastern, Saudi Arabia

My role in this experience was a contracted play technician. To construct a state of the art specialist play facility for children and young persons, at a trampolining activity centre. The experience was carried out for a total of 4 weeks in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. An exciting and 'once in a life time' opportunity, which developed my knowledge and understanding of new cultures to excel, as a result of working in a new environment.
