As part of the Factory Scheduling team, I developed an automated test framework in C# that interfaced with the visual programming based application the scheduling team used in order to perform regression testing. The platform was utilized by multiple teams at Intel. I reduced the manual intervention required for application deployment by creating an installer application that performed extensive pre-installation verifications.In addition to automation tasks, I was the product owner and developer on two applications: an MVVM UI and a distributed Middleware coded in C#. These applications utilized a SQL database. These were developed following an agile methodology.I participated in Intel's Social Innovation Startup Lab. This program focuses on using technology to address real-world problems and teaches entrepreneurship skills. Our project focused on using CV and deep learning to identify crop pests for local farmers.

As part of my dissertation research, I collaborated with SARRC to examine the role of technology in applied behavioral analysis (ABA) training and evaluation procedures for caregivers of children with autism. I conducted literature review, attended ABA classes, interviewed caregivers and clinicians, and observed one-on-one training sessions. My research consisted of applying machine learning to classify behavior and detect child vocalizations that could be used in conjunction with manual evaluation processes to provide more data for clinicians to analyze when providing feedback. I utilized participatory design as part of an agile development process to design a user interface for displaying the automatically extracted information.

During my contract at Waden Kane, I worked on game mechanics and platform integration for the mobile game Turtle Boarden. The game was developed in Unity3D using C# script. My role largely consisted of the integration of monetization features. This involved designing an appropriate reward system and developing gameplay features based around purchasable power-ups. I was also responsible for managing the iTunes and Android Play marketplaces, leaderboards, and version deployments.

My role at General Dynamics focused on application integration engineering for a communication system for government and military contracts. The project involved interfacing proprietary Java applications and commercial software in a Windows environment. This involved developing software, configuring user systems, and implementing distributed architecture.In addition to software development and system administration skills, my role required effective written and verbal communication skills for technical procedures. Extensive customer-facing documentation was required for explaining new features and applications.

My position as a Software Engineer involved support and development on a full-stack enterprise system. The system was developed in C#, followed a distributed design pattern, and interfaced with a SQL database. During my tenure, I coded, conducted code reviews, and participated in an agile development team. My database work consisted of writing SQL reports for business teams, investing in production performance, and following a data-first development procedure for object oriented programming.In addition to the development on the enterprise system, I was responsible for evaluating and automating data process flows. This involved programming templates and coding custom rules for an optical character recognition system for automated data entry and improving processes for customer data uploads using system schedulers.

As part of a cultural resource management company, my role as an archaeologist was to investigate sensitive areas prior to development projects. This work is undertaken to mitigate potential loss of important cultural deposits. I conducted field survey, observed large scale excavations, and performed artifact analysis. The role involved attention to detail and extensive written and photo documentation. I compiled my notes and observations into reports that are filed with the state of Washington. I was also responsible for communication and consultation with government officials, tribal representatives, and private contractors.
