Primary responsibilities consisted of developing and maintaining FME workspaces, develop new web services and apps, administer Server and Portal/AGO, and administratration of SDE geodatabases. Created new FME workspaces and rebuilt old ones to integrate GIS data with other enterprise business systems, including land (SQL) and ERP (Oracle) suites. Identified business needs and developed spatial based solutions to bring to asset teams; often combining data integration, analysis, and the creation of new web/mobile services and applications as the deliverable. Helped to create the mobile strategy and deployed ArcGIS for Mobile and Collector for ArcGIS to multiple asset teams and supported ongoing collection projects. As the GIS data steward for the land and facilities disciplines, was responsible for managing data through its full lifecycle, from planning to retirement, including QC and SME verification at all points. Maintained multiple databases for staging & production that utilized versioning.

Provided aerial rigging and consulting services for performance art. Specialized in aerial dance rigging and suspending performers in the air. I installed and consulted on both permanent and temporary installations. I also worked on the installation of several aerial yoga studios during this time.

This role was comprised of multiple contracts. In 2008 and 2009, I worked primarily on the the Balcones Canyonlands Conservation Plan. This work involved QA/QC of existing data for completeness and representation accuracy including compiling and merging large datasets. I routinely performed spatial analysis for habitat determination reports, produced new maps and maintained several large databases for this program. In 2010 and 2011, I focused on the county's 20 year comprehensive outlook plan and on mapping the 2011 bond election's Capitol Improvement Projects. This internship enabled me to work on many different projects and provided experience performing a broad range of GIS tasks. Frequently referenced, scanned and digitized older paper maps, deeds, surveys, and plats. Acquired and formatted data to use for analysis, including address points and meets and bounds. Used Maplex Label Engine, Photoshop, and Layout to create production ready maps. Received and delivered map requests for county commissioners, private industry, other government agencies, and the general public.

Provided consulting and risk management for a site-specific aerial dance company and was retained as Lead Rigger on all major productions. I provided technical designs, cost estimates, and provisioning for performer flying systems and apparatus. Hired a crew to help design, build, and run the flying systems. Utilized techniques and practices from a range of areas, including; arena rigging, theater rigging, rock climbing, high angle rescue, rope access, and arborists. We applied these skills both indoors and outdoors in a range of environments.
