This includes the audio for the podcasts as well as audio, video and listener interaction management with live broadcasts. I am a Transition Specialist for the STEP Program (Secondary Transitional Experience Program), which assists high school students with disabilities in transitioning into competitive employment in the community. I am responsible for QCSTEP.com and The QC STEP Podcast, which use new media and social media to provide students with job leads, information on entry-level jobs and tips on securing and maintaining employment.I also consult other programs within the organization on the use of social media to connect with the community and inform the public on various aspects of education. I have done multiple presentations at the local and state levels on social media.

As a Transition Specialist Assistant/Job Developer for the STEP Program (Secondary Transitional Experience Program), I worked with high school students with disabilities in transitioning into competitive employment in the community.Responsibilities included:- Assist Transition Specialist in maintaining follow-up on individual client cases until case closer or case transfer. - Assist Transition Specialist in developing career education programs in order to provide optimum vocational resources to students with disabilities. - Assist in coordination of communication lines between parents, students, school prevocational staff and BHASED staff. - Secure and evaluate job sites for recommended STEP students.- Provide assistance to employers on individual problems affecting student job training and success.
