My inspiration to work on the transition to a sustainable future comes from a love of nature. I grew up in the pristine wilderness on the north and west coast of Canada and have been lucky enough to travel to many beautiful, untouched places around the world. These experiences have convinced me that we humans need to find better ways of doing business that don't harm our planet.I started my career tuning heavy duty diesel engineers to run on Natural Gas and Hydrogen. After a brief but inspiring round the world trip I ended up in Switzerland designing sensors for measuring aerosols and nanoparticles. After reading an article about using kites to produce energy from the wind I was hooked and spent over a decade working with a great group of people turning this from vision to reality at TwingTec.The next chapter of my profession journey is now underway at H2 Energy, where I am responsible for the commercial build up of `kvyreen`. This is a hydrogen powered generator, initially configured for EV fast charging but with a broad range of application including on and off-grid power supply.
