Mr. Kleinhenz focuses his practice on the defense of workers’ compensation claims. He represents and counsels both large and small employers in their defense of claims from the initial review of the claim all the way through courtroom litigation, where he has obtained several favorable verdicts on behalf of clients before the Courts of Common Pleas and Courts of Appeal throughout Ohio. Mr. Kleinhenz provides a unique perspective to counseling employers in their defense of workers’ compensation claims through his wealth of experience representing injured workers for over a decade prior to joining Roetzel. Mr. Kleinhenz utilizes his prior experience to effectively counsel employers with respect to what arguments and future requests injured worker legal representatives are most likely to make on behalf of their clients. This unique experience and insight enables Mr. Kleinhenz to develop a pro-active defense and claim management strategy with respect to employers workers compensation claims. In addition to his responsibilities as legal counsel to his clients, Mr. Kleinhenz provides education to third party administrators, clients, and various trade and bar associations on numerous workers’ compensation issues through speaking engagements across the State of Ohio.
