I am currently working as a lead systems engineer, in the area of digital engineering, for the Boeing Company. My primary focus is that of bringing Boeing and its partners into the new age of digital engineering.I previously worked as an autonomous systems researcher for the Distributed Autonomous Systems Laboratory (DASLab) at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC). My most recent research focus, in collaboration with Sandia National Labs, was on the joint use of machine learning, reinforcement learning, and adaptive control techniques onboard autonomous vehicles with the purpose of framework translation to hypersonic applications. Prior to this yearlong stint in researching AI systems, I defended my M.S. thesis in Engineering at UIUC. My thesis focused on the use of machine learning for cost savings in agriculture. I obtained my B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from UIUC in 2018.My software and product development skillset includes Python, Java, Matlab, C++, system framework development, product lifecycle management, and agile methodologies/practices.I held 6 summer engineering internships during my collegiate studies, and I have 7+ years' worth of engineering experience in the aerospace and environmental consulting industries while working full-time during college breaks and part-time while in-session. I also have ~4 years of graduate research experience in the field of robotics, AI, software, and data science.I have a diverse background that has provided a unique skillset that showcases my ability to learn and quickly adapt to new technologies. I believe this is essential for the new-age engineer.
