Live Oak Creek Ranch is a working ranch with a never ending list of projects to be accomplished. There are several animals to take care of such as honey bees, chickens, horses, donkeys, and cows! It no small task making sure all of these animals are well taken care of while maintaining the property itself. Discovery Wind is a drone-based inspection and analysis company. During my time at Discovery Wind, my job was to find new clients and estimate drone work. In my short time as an intern, I built relationships with other companies and schools from scratch. I successfully acquired new jobs, created new marketing material, and flew drones in the field.

Garza Site Development is a self-performing contractor specializing in full turn-key sitework projects. I worked for Garza for a month to assist their work crews. I also wanted to learn some construction related tasks and methods. I was able to help assist in some problem solving with faulty plans. While I was helping build boardwalks, pouring concrete, reclaiming marble slabs to be reused, and other miscellaneous tasks.

Montreat Conference Center is a fellowship camp and conference. In my roll as a counselor we are tasked with making young people feel comfortable as they create new interpersonal relationships and develop social and outdoor living skills. I was a counselor for 7 and 8 years olds, and I made sure they were focused and participating in every activity. I grew in my abilities such as to read people and cater my responses, communication skills, how to control 30-40 hyper 7 and 8 year olds, and how to handle conflicts.
