I managed the development of two sustainable seafood tools as a consultant for the USAID M.A.R.K.E.T project which I was involved with from January 2014 - June 2015. Both of the ideas for the tools were developed by the Public - Private ASEAN Taskforce for Sustainable Fisheries and Aquaculture which included both private and public sector representatives from the ASEAN region. The Southeast Asian Shrimp Aquaculture Improvement Protocol was developed by a 14 person Steering Committee and I led the group through 4 Steering Committee meetings and 3 Public Meetings ranging from 15- 86 participants per meeting. I was the lead facilitator and project manager and over an 18 month period the project created 4 drafts and conducted some basic field testing. The Fishery Protocol was developed by a 25 person Steering Committee and I led the group through 5 Steering Committee meetings and 5 Public Meetings ranging from 15- 86 participants per meeting. I was the lead facilitator and project manager and over an 18 month period the project created 4 drafts and conducted some basic field testing.Both projects are now moving forward under different convening organizations. I remain in the lead role for both projects.

Managed the implementation of Aquaculture Improvement Projects for shrimp and Pangasius farms in Thailand, Ecuador, and Vietnam, which involved farm assessments, development of strategies for improvement, building relationships with farming partners, and managing an international team. The Ecuadorian project achieved being the first source of Aquaculture Stewardship Council certified shrimpLed the North American outreach team with buyers in Canada, California, and other major seafood industry events to generate sales for projects

Co-facilitator of 10 multi-day meetings for the Shrimp Aquaculture Dialogue Steering Committee in Europe, North America, and Asia. Managed the steering committee, which involved researching key issues, outreach to stakeholders, and managing the overall process and budget. Organized and facilitated engagement of anti-shrimp farming activists in Bangladesh and Thailand to discuss their concerns about the standards, which included site visits to affected areas in February 2010.
