I work to develop relationships with local employers in the Hospitality, Public and Professional Technical sectors that mutually bennefit the employer, WIOA and other WDC staff and customers. I work with employers to support them or connect them to economic and workforce development resources i.e. candidates, industry trends, tax breaks, labor market information, funds, internship programs and workforce training programs to help them be more seccessful in their outreach endevors. I assit in identifying employment needs of targeted employers and develop efficent and inovative ways to communicate business talent acquisition needs. I also work with employers and community partners to plan, manage and execute job seeker events in and around the King County area.

I work with area businesses to cultivate internship programs from within to give meaningful hands on real world work experiences for individuals in the RISE program.

Promote and practice cultural sensitivity and competency while working to advocate for families with disabilities. Assist with interviewing and screening of applicants referred. Work to foster an atmosphere of support and safety for residents and coordinates and facilitates mediation when needed. Assist residents in preparing for court cases including coaching, paperwork prep etc.

I communicate with homeless and at risk youth to understand areas of work and educational intrest. I go out into community and partner with area buisnesses to cultivate internships, apprenticiships, OJT's and job shadowing to give realworld work experience to youth. I work with area colleges and trade schools to stratigize on programs and funding sources to get youth into programs. I work to foster lasting partnerships that will be bennificial to youth, businesses and educational institutions.
