When I was growing up, I never realized my true passion for logistics. Whenever I was told to carry out a task, I would always find the most efficient ways of accomplishing these tasks. Even something as simple as making breakfast in the morning. I would time myself growing up to see how I could maximize my efficiency so I wouldn’t ever be wasting time. It didn’t stop there. I would carry this into everything I did. I reorganized my room dozens of times to make sure I had the most space that everything was organized and that everything had a place and was in its place. Along with making it look nice. Constantly developing new strategies to make anything more efficient.When I started my first job in college, I was delivering furniture for a family-owned company. Being able to set up deliveries for customers and to make sure everything ran efficiently and pleased everyone was extremely satisfying. I developed skills on how to problem solve and communicate with customers. Having to make sure I can find ways to make sure people's furniture got into people’s houses without anything getting damaged. This showed me how to pick apart situations I'm put in and see all possible outcomes to make things possible. I learned how to communicate with many kinds of cultures and different emotions people had. Being able to find ways to communicate with people with language barriers and different views of how you should enter their house as well as dealing with people who would be upset that they bought too big of furniture and would take their anger out on me showed me how to keep my head level and stay professional no matter how it made feel or dangerous it was. These skills will help me become more successful in the business world and I hope to learn many more.Achievements I have accomplished are receiving the green belt in lean six sigma, and I have received my General Associates degree from Lansing Community College. When attending Lansing Community College. I was in a kinesiology club that I was on the board to help plan events, get the college involved in local charities, as well as getting people to be more physically active. Currently, I am attending Central Michigan University College of Business Administration with a Major in Logistics Management. I am a member of the Supply Chain Management Association at Central Michigan University.
