Since becoming a teacher in 1997, I have taught for private Christian schools and currently teach history, literature, and theology (Omnibus) for Veritas Scholars Academy. Christian Parenting Today published my first article, “A Tear and a Laugh” in 1996— which also won the Whitworth University writing award. My first book, "To Conquer Death: Seeing Beyond the Darkness," was published in 2015.My new book, "500 Year Journey: How the Magi Knew When Christ Would Be Born," is to released on September 12, 2023. I have previously lived in Arizona, California, Oregon, Washington, and Colorado, but I currently reside in Wichita, KS with my wife and children where I have learned to love the flowing beauty of the prairie. My favorite places on earth are the Grand Canyon, Colorado, and the Oregon Coast, where my family heritage is rooted in fishing and dairy farming in the Tillamook Valley.
