Leading the CSPi Cloud Services team on initiatives in SaaS and Public Cloud offerings. Focused on solutions based on Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure.

During my time at CSPi as technical consultant I have lead a team of consultants to develop complex compute and storage solutions that benefit our clients across many industries. We have developed solutions for manufacturing, education, healthcare, maritime, entertainment and law enforcement using products from industry leaders like VMware, Cisco, Dell EMC, HP and Microsoft. While much of my time is spent architecting these solutions I still find time to get hands on experience assisting in product implementation.

While employed at FCS I managed a team of 9 architect and administrator level personal while also serving as lead architect for an IT environment serving almost 100 oncology treatment facilities. I worked with fellow managers to implement ITIL-aligned processes and procedures across the department. My daily tasks included working with internal and vendor resources to coordinate projects involving all aspects of networking, storage and compute infrastructure.

As Lead Systems Architect I was responsible for all aspects of data center operations and infrastructure including private cloud, host/compute, storage and data protection. I lead the implementation of a new data center based on VMWare vSphere hypervisors running on Cisco UCS B and C series servers connected via Cisco Nexus switching to tiered storage leveraging EMC VNX, VPLEX, XtremIO, Isilon and DataDomain. The system also leveraged EMC RecoverPoint to replicate data to a DR site. The data center served 18TB of patient information to 2200 staff across the state of Florida leveraging Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop.

As the Infrastructure Architect I participated in many projects that helped improve the IT environment of Florida Cancer Specialists, including: Moving Critical Systems to a Tampa Data Center; Mergers in new Markets; Opening of the Tampa Cancer Center; Improvement of Existing IT Processes and Policies; Design, Deployment and/or Maintenance of: EMC SAN and Storage Equipment, Cisco UCS Servers, Active Directory, Exchange 2010, Document Redirection, Data Protection, VMware Virtual Infrastructure, Microsoft System Center2012, Lync 2013, SQL Database Servers. I was privileged to be able to propose and lead many of these projects.

I have worked for the District in various IT positions since 2003. The School District of Lee County is an 80,000 student Florida public school district with ~45,000 computers and over 110 schools and administrative facilities.Senior Network Administrator 2009 to 2011As a senior systems administrator I was responsible for many enterprise systems that supported an 80,000 user, 45,000 workstation K-12 network. My duties included the design, planning, deployment and maintenance of several mission critical and non-mission critical hardware and software systems. These systems included, but were not limited to: communications, internet security, network security, databases, applications, data protection, software deployment, data storage and virtualization. While in my position I reduced the number of physical servers in the District by over 50% by utilizing virtualization and consolidation along with more efficient storage and server design. Using NetApp storage technology I reduced storage costs in the District Data Center. I restructured the District Active Directory to make it more secure and efficient; I implemented many other systems including Exchange 2010, SharePoint 2010, M86 Enterprise Web Filtering, ForeFront Protection for Exchange and ForeFront Client Security.Other Positions 2003 to 2009Network Administrator (IT Support), Field Technology Specialist (IT Support), Technology Support Specialist (Trafalgar Middle School, Varsity Lakes Middle School and Lehigh Senior High School)
