Culture Change: Working closely with Mazda’s leadership I help drive the company’s culture change initiative to help all employees deliver an exceptional customer experience. Since the launch of Mazda’s culture framework, there has been an increase in sales and customer satisfaction ratings. Internal Communications: Revamped Mazda’s core internal communications, including the monthly newsletter, Town Hall events and leadership topics, delivering a more consistent experience. A focus has been put on using digital technologies to better track views and reach a wider range of employees. External Communications: Working with other business units to develop items like email copy, social media posts and web content to help extend campaigns success while minimizing cost by using internal resources.Talent Recruitment: Working with HR team on employer award submissions and social media posts to attract new talent, with LinkedIn seeing an almost 300% increase in engagement in the past six months. Public Relations: Assisting PR team with press kit development, press vehicle management and events to help maintain positive relationships with journalists.Charity Committee: Working with Mazda’s Charity Committee to plan fundraising activities, respond to donation requests and develop messaging for campaigns, with the committee raising almost $40,000 annually.

Internal Communications: Worked with internal stakeholders to determine the right style, channel and frequency for their communications. Emphasis was placed on defining goals and the KPIs that would indicate success. Town Halls: Connected Moneris’ Executive Team with over 2,000 employees across five office locations using real-time webcasting technology. Town Hall events provided important business updates, and event feedback maintained an employee satisfaction level of 85% and above. Corporate Newsletter: Wrote, edited and designed Moneris’ corporate newsletter. Feedback from Town Hall events was used to determine content, with over 65% of the employee base reading the newsletter on average. Editing: Providing editing and proofreading support to all business units. Focus on being a ‘central hub’ for information on terminology, style and branding and trademark use. External Communications: Leading communications activities for product launches, media relations and customer emails for audiences upwards of 100,000 people. Maintaining daily media monitoring reports, summarizing press coverage and maintaining media impressions tracker. Customer Pricing Communications: Was responsible for Moneris’ pricing communications to customers, developing a two-year plan to reduce related project costs by over $200,000 by digitizing communications. Thought Leadership: Secured speaking opportunities for Moneris’ senior leaders and built the required presentation decks. Notable events include Cardware, Ingenious Awards and Money 20/20. Graphic Design: Worked closely with the Brand Manager to develop graphics that supported Moneris’ brand including custom PowerPoint decks, icons, promotional items and layout. Testimonials: Was lead on testimonial development, from creating the checklist to ensure the right candidates were selected through to interviewing and writing.
