PROJECT HIGHLIGHTSLineajeLed a new startup through the process of achieving SOC2 compliance in 4 months, fulfilling a requirement for this company to engage in business with certain businesses and government agencies.• Gathered company data, created security processes, added integrations onto vendor’s platform (Akitra Andromeda), wrote documentation, and implemented trainings for all employees.• SOC2 compliance allowed 3 new customers, who required this certification, to sign new subscriptions with Lineaje.TrellixFormed and led 2 development teams for a new XDR data platform, Trellix Event Fabric, and delivered beta version within 1 year.• Took part in the merger of 2 cybersecurity companies, McAfee’s robust on-prem SIEM and FireEye’s new, but expensive cloud SIEM that required a large effort to bring 2 company’s technology stacks together.• Worked with McAfee products to re-architect the on-prem SIEM into cloud technologies to become the center point of collecting, correlating, and forwarding data into 1 place. Then followed a similar process with FireEye products.• Worked on the project as Engineering Manager, Product Owner, and Project Manager to release the beta version, Trellix Event Fabric, after 1 year of development.McAfeeTurned around a failing UI conversion project that threatened the life of the product and was projected to cost the company $5+million in 5 years.• As a lead UI developer working on McAfee’s ActionScript, Adobe announced the end to supporting the Flash Player plugin which displeased customers and caused a major decline in sales for the McAfee product.• After 5 years the UI was only 45-50% migrated and customer satisfaction continued to decline.• Proposed a change of project to use new Apache Royale technology and change the migration into a conversion project.• Acted as Project Manager and gathered contractor estimates, the conversion proved to be a major cost savings for the company and was completed within 1 year for less than $1 million.Intel SecurityLed a SIEM Tiger Team of 12 engineers to improve the quality of the product and engineering processes.• The security product faced customer complaints involving poor quality.• Managed a team to purchase hardware, provide real-world testing, have frequent patches released to customers to fix bugs, and provide a rotating sustaining team.• New processes were implemented, quality improvements and new features were provided to solve customer satisfaction issues.• As a result, customer satisfaction data showed increased confidence in the product.
